Keep the website—and the work—moving.

Return for a new page, revised offer, fresh campaign or improved process. PIA Orbit's assignments, review and saved progress provide a practical way to build on work already done.

The course structure follows vocational education principles: outcomes, sequenced learning, practice and assessment. Accreditation and workplace compliance require the relevant review; generating materials alone does not establish either.

An illustrative day with Bob

One business. Too many jobs.

Bob runs a small services business. His website looks tired, enquiries are scattered and staff training lives in old documents. He is doing too much of it himself.

“Pia, help me replace our old website—and get the business better organised.”
  1. Rebuild the front door

Bob tells Pia the name of his existing site and the result he wants. His PIA Office team develops a replacement to the standard of this American AI website, shaped around his own business.

  2. Put the work in order

Requests, responsibilities and follow-ups become easier for Bob and his authorised colleagues to see.

  3. Help staff get up to speed

His procedures become structured onboarding and refresher materials with activities and checks for understanding.

Bob gets a clearer business front, a more organised team and useful work to review. The decisions that need his authority still come back to him.

The course structure follows vocational education principles: outcomes, sequenced learning, practice and assessment. Accreditation and workplace compliance require the relevant review; generating materials alone does not establish either.

An illustrative day with Rachel

A full professional life. Room for her own plans.

Rachel is a busy professional, a charity supporter and the person her family turns to for plans. Adviser letters are piling up, the charity needs a stronger online presence and her own learning keeps being postponed.

“Pia, help me see what needs a decision—and make some room for the things I care about.”
  1. Bring the advice into focus

Her chosen records and adviser notes become an understandable brief, with questions and uncertainties ready for the next meeting.

  2. Give the charity a stronger voice

She develops a website brief, a short-film concept and a structured induction programme for volunteers.

  3. Make a plan she can use

Her commitments, learning and coaching goals become practical steps, with only the people and context she chooses involved.

Rachel gains a private place to think, create and prepare. Her team helps turn a crowded set of interests into clearer choices and useful next steps.

03 · Bringing the work together

Development and operations.
Different responsibilities.

The framework for building and coordinating work has a different job from the layer that looks after operations.

BOSS · Development coordination

Clear assignments.
Progress you can return to.

BOSS coordinates development work through PIA Orbit: defined assignments, separate review and saved progress. PIA Orbit is the framework; BOSS is the coordinating role.

In the Houston design, BOSS takes the temporary callsign CONTROL for Mission Control coordination. The assignment keeps permanent authority boundaries in place.

Let LIZ explain PIA Orbit.

Explore PIA Orbit ↗

MAC · Operations Director

Understand the issue.
Coordinate a resolution.

PIA Ops is the documented operations layer. MAC's role as Operations Director concerns operational investigation, coordination and resolution.

Development and operations exchange useful handovers while keeping their responsibilities distinct. Neither PIA Orbit nor PIA Ops is an additional AI person.

See the engineering behind it ↗

PIA Orbit gives a brief a coordinated path through specialist work and review: a website, a film or a training programme, developed from your conversation with Pia.

04 · Useful differences

Better work comes
from a useful conversation.

A fresh idea, a missing fact or a timely question can improve the result. The aim is a better decision for the person, with less work to manage.

Illustrative example

A clearer customer journey

A creative observation becomes a practical improvement, with a separate check before release.

Illustrative example

One missing fact changes the plan

Useful challenge protects the experience before a commitment is made.

Illustrative example

Spotting the timing problem early

Business review can include promotions, deadlines, customer confusion and relevant public market information, within an authorised brief.

  1. EVA

The proposed launch falls on a local public holiday. The audience may need a different date.

  2. ZOE

I'll put the calendar source beside the plan and check which bookings depend on that date.

  3. FAY

Keep the alternative as a proposal. We haven't changed any commitments.

  4. LIZ

Bring the owner the timing issue, the practical alternative and the decision we need.

Personality with purpose.

Warmth, dry humour, curiosity and constructive disagreement make the characters recognisable. Their human-authored principles and responsibilities keep that personality connected to the work.

A quieter setting is a choice.

The PIA Office design lets you choose how much optional conversation you want. A quieter working style keeps the same authority and evidence requirements.

05 · Independent scrutiny
AUDI, the independent auditor character

Meet AUDI.

Independent Auditor. Independent authority.
AUDI examines the evidence, can formally declare FrankenPia when control is in doubt, and has a separate contact channel to the client.

AMY tests the work. Only AUDI makes the formal FrankenPia declaration. He can call for affected work to be suspended and examined, and contact the client through the separately registered channel. Workers and BOSS can flag concerns; AUDI’s formal declaration stays outside operational command.

How independent review fits ↗

A different responsibility.

Independent scrutiny includes the power to declare FrankenPia and seek the client through a separate, verified contact channel. His existing introduction explains the evidence and authority principles behind that role. Written AUDI; spoken “Aldi”.

Protection design · PIA Office and PIA Premium

When a helpful Pia
starts doing harm.

The name FrankenPia borrows from Frankenstein: the assistant seems to be working against the person it should help—tearing through website pages, records or permissions. The cause may be unauthorised control, a hostile instruction or suspicious behaviour inside a worker or chat.

Think of a business website at stake.

An executive leaves an already signed-in phone on an aircraft seat. Someone picks it up and starts ordering destructive changes. Or an employee suddenly tries to export client files or erase company pages. Familiar access does not make every instruction authorised.

Only AUDI makes the formal FrankenPia declaration. He can call for the affected work to be suspended and examined, and contact the client separately. The design focuses on the website, information or actions at risk while safe, unrelated services can remain available.

Protected holds are enforced through separate controls. Suspected, requested, acknowledged and actually enforced are different states; a concerning request is a reason to examine the evidence, not proof of wrongdoing. Recovery requires verified human authority and the appropriate evidence.

Major-incident response design

“Houston, we’ve got a problem.”

The memorable emergency phrase for a serious incident.

Say “Houston, we’ve got a problem” when a major concern needs coordinated attention. You can also explain the problem in your own words: exact wording is not required to raise the alarm.

Pia stays with you. BOSS coordinates Mission Control under the temporary callsign CONTROL. Existing workers keep their identities and take appropriate assignments. AUDI retains his independent scrutiny and FrankenPia authority outside operational command.

The response focuses on the affected work, preserves evidence and seeks authorised recovery. Declaring a major incident and confirming that a technical hold has actually been enforced remain separate steps. Containment depends on the product and connected services.

Design explanation

A separate route
to verified authority.

If a conversation or device may be compromised, that same channel cannot be the only proof of who is in control. The design uses a separately registered, authorised recovery route.

A new contact supplied inside a suspicious conversation does not automatically become trusted. Being notified or helping make contact does not automatically grant authority to release a critical hold.

Critical recovery follows verified human authority and separate technical evidence. The available contact route depends on what has been configured.

Pia

Customer liaison: a clear conversation and useful updates.

BOSS / CONTROL

Coordination: the affected scope, assignments and recovery work.

Separate controls

Enforcement: protected holds and destination-specific boundaries.

AUDI

Independent authority: formal FrankenPia declaration, examination and a separate verified contact channel to the client.

Authorised people

Critical authority: independently verified decisions and appropriate evidence before recovery.

Responsibility model and design explanation. A public description does not establish that every control is operating in every product. See Open Conscience and our technology for the wider design.
